WHAT IS AN ANTHOLOGY FANZINE OR ZINE?
A fanzine or zine is a collection of works created by fans revolving around a certain theme or fandom. It's usually produced as a book (sometimes with accompanying merchandise) or a digital PDF. As an anthology, the content of the zine is writer focused. By Your Side will feature only fics and will be in black and white.WHAT IS THIS ANTHOLOGY ABOUT?
By Your Side is an anthology focused on YoonKook! There is no central theme as we want the writers to decide how they choose to write for this zine!IS THIS PROJECT BE FOR-PROFIT?
This zine will be for-profit. The profits will all be pooled together and divided amongst contributors who have the option of receiving their shares or donating it to charity. Contributors who are under 18 by the time of pay-out will automatically have to forfeit their shares to charity for legal reasons. All donated shares will be given to an organization decided on by the mods and contributors.DO THE MODS HAVE EXPERIENCE RUNNING ZINES?

Short answer: both! Long answer: The YoonKook theme is open to interpretation for the writers, whether that be in a friendship/platonic sense or a romantic sense.HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE WORKING ON THE ZINE?
This will be determined after the interest check!WILL MINORS BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ZINE?

Yes! There will be a few guests invited to the zine that we'd love to help bring this project to life! An example is our cover artist, who will be invited as the only artist on the project.DO I NEED TO WRITE SOMETHING NEW FOR THE APPLICATION?
Not at all! You're more than welcome to if you wish, but most of the time, applicants will apply with work that they've already done! If accepted, this is where you'll be required to make something new!CAN WE USE OLD FICS AS OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ZINE?
Unfortunately, no. All pieces should be new, original works specifically created for the zine.ONCE THE ZINE IS FINISHED, WILL I STILL HAVE THE RIGHTS TO MY WORK?
Yes, absolutely! Once the mods give you the green light, you're more than welcome to do what you like with your work! We ask that while the zine is still actively going through creation periods, preorders, leftover sales, etc., that you do not share, post, or sell your work until the mods have given you the go ahead to do so! But you will retain all rights to your work upon the zine's completion and the zine will not retain its rights to distribute your work.HOW WILL CONTRIBUTORS AND MODS COMMUNICATE?
There will be major updates in the form of emails, but we will heavily be relying on Discord for most of our communication. It's a requirement that you have an account to participate in the zine. While you're not required to engage in conversation or partake in any social interactions within the server, we still require you to join it so you can keep up with our announcements and updates.WILL CONTRIBUTORS RECEIVE A FREE COPY OF THE ZINE?
All contributors will receive the digital zine for free! Although, our goal is to sell enough of the zine to compensate all contributors with full bundles as thanks for contributing their time and efforts. This is just dependent on sales.
